Therefore, we test our minibuses to the more ferocious European M1 (Passenger Car Category) standards. This imposes loadings on the anchorages equal to a 20g deceleration from 30mph, which is twice that required by UK law.
Our minibuses have been subjected to stringent strength testing of the seats, their anchorage to the bodyshell the seat belt anchorages and the seat belts themselves by MIRA (The Motor Industry Research Association). The testing was witnessed and certified as complying with European safety standards by the VCA (The Vehicle Certification Agency) who are the UK Vehicle Testing Authority.
